On October 22, 2012, the facility was added to the list of Historical Monuments. Thus, since it is an important Polish facility. Saint Thomas of Canterbury church is a three-aisled basilica whose date of building completion is assumed to be the year of consecration of the church i.e. 1232. The structure of the church has been preserved intact. The front of the church is decorated with a Romanesque portal and a rosette. The equipment of the temple comes from the Baroque and Rococo period. Because of the fact that it is a very old facility with an interesting shape, we have found that we can present it in an interesting way using Lego bricks. Nevertheless, such a model is one of these models easy to build from Lego bricks.

Creating this building, I couldn’t believe that it’s so old because it dates back to 1176, it was seemingly built by Kazimierz II Sprawiedliwy, who brought monks from other abbeys from the Morimond Abbey in Burgundy – now in Champagne (by the way, probably only the piles of blocks would convince me to move from Champagne to Poland, I wonder if bubbles were already produced!? because blocks were definitely not!). The prince granted them with the lands located near the crossing over the Pilica River in Sulejów. The prince’s initiative was also financially supported by the Bishop of Krakow- Fulko and the Archbishop of Gniezno- Piotr Łabędź, a particularly distinguished guardian of the Cistercian conventions. For the needs of the promotion of the local government in Sulejów, we have prepared a visualization of the church in Sulejów from Lego bricks. 369 Lego bricks have been used to create the project.
